| Antique 1870-1880 100% original Studebaker surry. Made in the Studebaker factory in South Bend, Indiana, approximately 1870-1880 Shipped around Cape Horn to Portland, Oregon. It was assembled at the Studebaker dealership in Portland. Sold and driven to Canyonville, Oregon, where used by a family until shortly after the turn of the century, when they bought a motorcar. They stored in the family barn until 2003 when I purchased it. In approximately 85-90% condition due to age and deterioration. All of the wood and metal is sound and sturdy. Needs brake locks and pads. Also has a 4-inch tear in the cloth roof. Paint and pinstripes have faded somewhat, but all of the paint is original. Features: Tounges: 2 single trees, 1 double tree. Removeable rear seat. Latchable tailgate. Elephant hide dashboard. Leather-covered seats (in need of repair) Comes with the Studebaker wrench used to take off the nuts on the wheels for replacement.
